In my opinion and I feel as a lyme late stage/advanced lyme sufferer. I do know what I am talking about. The difference between these two Doctors is these. Dr. Halperin is either a non lyme sufferer or a CDC Protocol follower who is afraid of thinking outside the box. He in my opinion is not answering correctly. For example: For years I suffered greatly with extreme headaches from the back of my neck on up into my brain stem area. Other issues he is answering to are common with non-lyme Literate Doctors. So there for Dr. Halperin is more of a hindrance to the future welfare of the lyme sufferer. As for Dr. Horowitz, I only disagree on one point and that is he says 75 % of lyme disease is in the northeast. I say only because we have better more literate doctors who are reporting these infections as other areas are not. I chat with lyme sufferers all over the world with my own little advocacy site and this is not a Northeast, US issue. This is a world issue. There are baby steps and discoveries in lyme everyday in USA. and Germany. But the most important thing we can do is educate our children and parents and grandparents of children to be vigilant is preparing for the outside. |
