THROUGH CHALLENGE and Lyme Disease

MY LYME THOUGHTS & NEW NUMBERS

For those of you who have been watching the new lyme infection numbers from the CDC. Here is some of my views and opinions for what there worth.
I have been watching and listening to the new found truth about the actual lyme and tic borne disease related cases in the USA and around the world. I have come to feel that there has not been anybody in this country struggling to bring this out other than the lyme community itself, and a senator or two. But then again I also have come to the conclusion the numbers are not high enough and we need to keep striving forward for real help with this disease.

Infants and lyme

  Hello again,
I have been talking with a friend from across the pond that has mentioned a link that I had given her sometime ago. It had to do with a connection between research of Lyme and a link with Autism. My friend who is a mother suffers with arthritis, daughter 1 has arthritis, epilepsy, palpitations etc. Daughter 2 has Lyme. Son 1 has ADHD, Son 2 has Autism.
Well I haven't heard that Epilepsy could be a misdiagnosis. But I have had experience with Lyme Arthritis, Heart issues, Anxiety disorder, Depression, and many more issues with Lyme.

AUTHOR:  Kathy Cavert  As with all serious and debilitating diseases, there are some factors that come into play more than the disease itself which complicates things for the patient and the family.

AN OBSERVATION

 THE VIRUS CARD
My wife Linda and I were driving home from her Lyme appointment as the trips are called now. We were noticing a change in our health and habits as we struggle through our challenges with Lyme and other tic born co-infections. After I was bitten sometime ago. It is assumed by my Lyme specialist back in the 70s. I slowly became very susceptible to colds and flu problems. It was always an on going challenge to stave of the next sinus attack or gut virus and flu, then my muscular system began to pain awful through the years.

A FRIEND ASKED:

  A FRIEND ASKED:
Hey Dave where did you contact this Lyme desease from anyway just wondering is it cause you live in the woods or you camp alot and got it from the ticks there...???? ·
David R Thomas Who knows Herb. I grew up on the farm and was there until my late 30's. I am an outdoorsmen, hunting, fishing, But my wife was never a farmer and she was stricken with 4 or 5 strains of tic bite diseases and I and the Lyme assn. would blame this on feeding deer in the back yard for years, and bird feeders are now becoming a factor.

LYME CO-INFECTIONS

CO-INFECTIONS
I am asked often about my wife's and my lyme issues and I usually say “so so”. Buy then sometimes people want to know what some of these other ailments are that we talk of and why are we challenging yet another ailment. I begin to tell the person that lyme is often just one of the infections you get from a tic bite. (((( There is a brochure and booklet that you can get by contacting the Lyme assoc.Www.lymepa.orgor your local lyme group as mine iswww.ahope4lyme.organd they can help you further as much of my info.

PSYCHOSOCIAL LYME

LYME PSYCHOSOCIAL ISSUES

""PSYCHOSOCIAL ISSUES OF LYME DISEASE " at: ( Lyme Disease "The more you know") is an article I read sometime ago and see it come up again. I had trouble bringing it to my blog so if you would like to read it on my facebook page at David R Thomas. I will try to keep it up front for a few days or untill I can bring it to the blog.  .
I want to share this article and if there are any questions.

HELLO FRIENDS AND READERS

Hello to my friends and followers to my blog. I will be back on schedual soon. I have been slowed down a bit lately with some health issues and will be back up soon. My wife Linda is also coming along again with her first childrens book as she gets acquainted with the different computer system. It is nice to have her back and something to talk about other than illness. We are fortunate to have grandkids to break us away from the everyday challenges of our journey. Yes my brain is starting to function again.

A CONVERSATION

INTER: for interpretation
This article came to FB and I found it interesting in the conversation that this person and I went into. I am not at liberty to share the other persons words but I can right my own and my own interpretation.
INTER: This person was remembering the days before lyme when everything in her life was so much easier. She didn't have to challenge herself to get the kids ready. It was just something that happen and going on vacation could be so relaxing and then going back to work is so challenging.

Bells Palsy and Lyme

I was reading a comment on the Lyme Whisperer this morning from a note of a person who was taken to the hospital with stroke symptoms. She found herself back at the amusement park the next day going strong and having fun. I to had a similar experience but was very ignorant to what was coming. I was told that tomorrow your experience will probably be worse with more paralysis in the face and numbness in the arms and legs on the opposite side. I was told I had Bells Palsy at a local EM room.
