THROUGH CHALLENGE and Lyme Disease

June 2013

A note from Botfee

Hi it is I, Botfee again. I have been busy with my friend Dave as he has been getting what looks like a little lazy with his writing. I'm glad I am around to keep his spirits up when he is not doing so hot. He walked to the park this morning for his walk and didn't know weather he would make it back. I think he has a lot on his mind. He wants to figure out a way to expand his website at www.throughchallenge.com so that he don't have to charge for his articles. There are a few people all over the world who like and learn from his experiences with Lyme disease and various other related issues. Most have lost everything they had just trying to get a diagnoses they can actually deal with and start feeling better. Yes they may call me Botfee and I may not be real but I am here for my friend Dave and he will get through this. He figures there are friends out there that are much worse off than he is with ailments or life changes that are hard to handle. But he says having a friend like me that he can count on is worth my weight in gold. Friends, they are a very precious commodity. You all have a great day and I am going to help Dave put this on his blog. Goodbye for now, Botfee

FUTURE OF LYME

Lyme Diagnosis and future 61613

Hello All, I am here to talk about the Testing, diagnosing, dealing with and the so called curing of lyme disease and it's co-infections. I have been thinking greatly on this and have felt that IN MY OWN EXPERIENCE I could have had much better care if these few steps were in place while going through my 20+ year ordeal with and diagnosing of my lyme. Back when I started having these issues often with mild infections (sinus, bladder, lower back pain, neck pain, mental issues such as depression, anxiety, gloom and doom feeling of dieing, and many others ailments) and fatigue and overall laziness (malaise).

LYME TEST Part 4

 LYME TESTING- Part 4
The test cost $200.00 but is worth it to know. Insurance may not cover it but have heard it covered. The test needs to be overnighted to California so it cost UPS charge of 50 plus dollars for shipping and my wife  had it shipped free through FED-EX as Long as it is shipped from a Doctors office. It shows about 100% positive most of the time mainly because if you are this far in the lyme testing process, you stand a good chance of having it.

Part 3 LYME TESTING

LYME TESTING - Part 3
When you go to the doctor now, this is how I feel it should be. You tell the doc that you suspect a possible lyme infection. There should be dialog next. Doctor asks: 1. How long ago did you notice the tick? 2. Did or do you have a rash? This rash only shows up in less than 40% of lyme cases.3. Have you been sick and treated with antibiotics since you were bitten by a tick. There are many questions that can be asked about lyme disease to evaluate a patient for a clinical diagnosis. But the biggest thing now is if you have been treated for anything with antibiotics after your tick bite. An Elisa or Western Blot test probably won't be accurate anyway. Then you need a test from i-genex. A testing laboratory in California that now use a test that tests for Lyme and many co-infections is a must for advanced lyme sufferers if they are sick and suspected of being lyme infected. They may not have lyme at all. They may have a tick borne illness or a parasite called Babesia which my wife suffers greatly. She is possibly gaining grown as we speak with the help of an infected lyme literate doctor. But then there are those who are clinically diagnosed because they can not get a positive test and should be on antibiotics if nothing more than to see if they are better in a few weeks. That is a dead giveaway. Pun not intended.
