A LEGISLATIVE PLEA
Hello all and especially my readers of the 41rst district of Penna,
I am concerned about the SB 174 being stuck in committee without be acted on. It is stuck in the Banking and Ins committee chairman's 41rst district Senator Donald White's Office. This Bill will help release Physicians to treat these Tick related issues correctly in the the eyes of the Lyme literate community. I need all my readers to spread the word and share this if you would. We need you to send a letter to Senator White's office. You might even call his office and stipulate that you would like him to act on this bill. Then you Lyme sufferers, recoverers and advocates from that district, should make contact with PALRN at www.palyme.org. They will be handling further direction on this matter. They also have a channel there for you to send your letter and so on. If you do not know how to write a letter to your senator. I don't either. But the following is the one I wrote and sent.
David R Thomas
Hello Senator Donald White,
I am a Lyme disease advocate/survivor. I have seen the devastation and recovery out there in the world of Lyme. But the hardest thing about Tick related issues is the ignorance of the non Lyme community. This Epidemic needs to be more educated, better understood, but even more important. Listened to by a sufferers Doctor or medical professional. I do hope that you will do your best to bring this SB 174 out of committee and help to get this passed. I would also hope that this stall is not in regards to the 75% bias to any ins company supporters. This epidemic/pandemic will be looked at in seventy-five years as an abominable, irresponsible, unprofessional medical disgrace. You need to figure out what list you want your name to be on when your future descendants look back and see what you have done. This is important and will save insurance companies billions of dollars and patients many years of suffering, and put many back to work helping the tax base. I do hope you do act on this, SB 174, and help vote this through as approved.
Thank you for your time,
David R Thomas
