THROUGH CHALLENGE and Lyme Disease

I COULD NOT STAY

This poem struck my mind this morning as I decided to take out an address I no longer needed.

I COULD NOT STAY

My duty today for a friend,
a warrior who could not stay.
She was strong as she was quiet,
we heard little at the end.
Her mate was always there,
with his strength and to defend.
As this monster inside her,
he would keep until the end.

My duty today for a friend,
a warrior who could not stay.
When we met she was my teacher,
for a journey that will get deeper.
She was blessed so many ways,
her soul can now go free,
With out the fences of challenge,
to tell, you could not see.

My duty today for a friend,
a warrior who could not stay.
The nights with no sleep,
we knew she was adding.
The wind became silent,
as a friend slips away.
My duty in honor,
to delete from my list.
I can hear her say,
AAAAHHHHHHH
I could not stay.

David R Thomas

This is written with a special spot in our hearts of Advanced Lyme /tick related issues
and the many silent and invisible disease sufferers who we understand and can relate to.

I am truely saddened by all the deaths,& at such young ages too. I need a LLMD .I have been suffering for over 20 years with LYME .I've been to many regular Dr's, but I've only seen 3 Dr's who treat LYME. Dr.Demio.Dr Kimberly Lentz.& Dr. Roach.Demio gave me a wagon full of medication& supplements .I finally gave up& could not stomach all these pills. Dr Lent's only gave me what She felt I absolutely needed..Dr.Roach is nota good ZmD,but still needs to ssstudy more about how to treat LYME desease,& all it's co-infections.Who in your opinion is the absolute best LLMD out there?

I am responding at my business and advocating site. There are a number of very good lyme literate doctors out there now. BUT there are also the original non LLMD who claims to know all tere is to know about treating lyme. If this is Drem M. I have talked with you before from Kentucky. It is sad you do not have a LLMD out that way. How ever. Have you tried contacting the doctor referral service at the www.nationallymeassociation.org. You can dial in on also the local lyme group in your area and chat with them. As for the best. Dr. Horowitz up in the Hudson valley Ny. is good but you probably won't get to see him. Dr. Cameron is also expensive but pretty good. Then a little closer in Maryland is Dr. Kenneth Singleton. But in my own area we have Dr. Clarence Mast but that is out in the boonies and an hr. from where I live and an 11/2 hr. from the nearest airport. He is very good but getting old. He is also a Lyme. If you are inclined to travel and you don't mind a trip. In Hermitage Pa. there are two LLMD's. One Dr. Swammi was my first LLMD and he is also a Lymee. And a pioneer in treating lyme issues and coinfections. Also there is possibly the Cleveland clinic. I understand there I Doc there who may be of use to you. But I am afraid of med factories because you don't know who your going to get. There are natural doctors or there that are helping some. You might check out the Buhner Protocol http://buhnerhealinglyme.com/ I have talked with people who have used his protocol but mainly does make them feel better but not sure o cured or not cured as some say they are. I guess that should be enough for now considering you have been suffering for 20 yrs. I know your problem. I recommend you get an appointment with somebody and get a room for the evening so you don't have to make the trip back same day as I did back 11 yrs ago. Dr. Singleton may not be taking anymore patients at this time. 3 month waiting list anyplace you go.
