THROUGH CHALLENGE and Lyme Disease

Blood supply/Babesia

An Article I recently read set me to writing once again. The article talked about Blood supply contamination, Babesia, Transfusions. But the thing that triggered this article today was the fact that this hospital is sending blood tests to organizations that do not recognize Tick Borne related diseases. The article follows.
This article as a Lyme and Tick Related disease advocate and survivor, Scares the bajeebers out of me. To suggest that because a world class hospital is involved in diagnosing and testing of Lyme and Tick borne related issues is absurd. The paragraph in this story ( Usually, when a patient has indistinct symptoms, a physician will order tests for all tick-borne illnesses, including tularemia and Rocky Mountain spotted fever. Lyme tests are routinely performed on the Island, but in other cases, blood samples are sent to the Mayo Clinic in Minnesota for testing.)Mayo is nothing more than more of the same in the Lyme and Tick borne fighting world. I am a world advocate and I get to chat with people all over the country. Every once in a while I get a call. This one call came from a person that said, I am laying here in a Mayo Clinic with all of these issues and this clinic is telling me that there is nothing wrong with me. I also know and live with in 3 blocks of a very fine hospital of world class that happens to be a partner of this Mayo clinic, that also will prefer to tell you there is nothing wrong with you. I know, I have been there. It's like having my own personal World class clinic in my back yard. BUT when it comes to infectious disease like Tick related issues. They are both 40 years behind the curve and 13 years behind the sciences. We in the Lyme and Tick related disease world are trying to change this and educate the community about the arrogance and ignorance of the medical community in regards to tick borne related issues. The medical community for the most part when it comes too these issues are still in the believe system of the 200 year old Pasteur belief "One bacteria, One disease mentality". This is now been blown out of the water by NANO Microbiology and some great scientist. Keeping in mind that this hospital and many others I am sure send 600 plus tick related tests there to be diagnosed. People it is time to wake up. Back to the person who called me. We were on the phone for a quite awhile talking, listening, talking, listening and I am convinced that if this person is directed into the right direction instead of the direction that all common sense knowledge that the medical world has marketed in to this persons brain. This person will find the right help and piece with those health issues. I hope we get soon to the place that Tuberculosis, Syphilis, Polio, Aids, Plagues of the past, Measles once stood and talk, listen, talk and listen.
