TESTING-THEY WON'T GET IT

My subject today is testing. In my travels and talking with people who wonder if their issues may be related to lyme. This is a subject that I feel mainstream doctors don't except yet. Patients will ask their doctor to order a test that perhaps I or another advocate or sufferer has suggested that the individual should have. The doctors reply is most often. Either everybody has lyme, Or that test is always positive. The first line that everybody has lyme I feel comes into their close mind because when 99% of the people tested with the I-genex test is positive. They feel they can say everybody has lyme. The second statement that all I-genex testing comes back positive. That is wrong. I am finding that not all lyme test come back positive and yet the individual still complains of lyme like issues. Then you may be asked to have the CD-57 test which stands for Cluster designation #57 in the genome project that had been identified in that order. The reason for 99% positive test results are not because the test is inaccurate. It is because mainstream medicine either don't know about the test or refuse to mention it because it goes against the grain that mainstream is forced to see lyme. Most I-genex testing is asked for by the patient at the request of a friend, family member, Advocate, or LLMD that may think they are suffering from lyme. I can tell you that either I can spot a possible lyme sufferer walking down the street or just a few minutes of talking with that individual. For that reason there is a high % of positive tests through I-genex that comes back positive. Keeping in mind that most people who test positive for lyme through this test has jumped through all the hoops and testing that the mainstream requires before looking the patient in the eye and saying. We can't find anything wrong with you and we think it could be in your head. The biggest and most powerful statement that has come out of all of this is "THEY WON'T GET IT, UNTIL THEY GET IT" statement barrowed from a Dr. Cameron speech I believe at one of the seminars. This test is not a gods word test. But it is a very useful tool that I feel should be used before a lyme sufferer gets to far along in his illness and has to much damage to regain his or her life back. Also a doctor may say this test is not government approved. Actually the paperwork reads this test does not require approval to be a useful tool in diagnosing Lyme. I am not sure but that statement almost sounds like a boot licking statement that pleases both the pro-lyme and the non-lyme literate community.
